Rough Day

So, today is a total bummer! I was so excited with my new car stereo only to have it not work with my IPOD. Gonna have to take it back to Crutchfield and either have then fix it or install another one. Then.......I decided to do my schools summer school program for my administration internship. I am not sure why I assumed that I would be getting paid but apparently I'm not. My principal said they would give me a little bit of planning money but that won't even cover the child care needed for the two weeks Mariah Jane will have to go to camp. Why in the world did I think I would get paid???? I really had no clue. Anyway, sorry to write such a downer......

Chair

I finally found a new chair and ottoman for my living room. I spent an entire day going from furniture store to furniture store and then gave up. You can't find anything under $600. So when I got home I checked out overstock.com and found the perfect chair. I didn't want to try and match browns so I have found the perfect red chair....tah dah!!!

Mariah's first dance

Mariah went to her first school dance. They had a Valentine dance a couple of weeks ago and her Dad and sister came up. It is amazing to watch the kids. The kindergartners just run while the older kids bounce around. Here are a few pictures.

Winter Wonderland in Charlottesville and more

Ok, so we FINALLY got our winter snow. Crazy that we had to wait until March 1st. Anyway, Mariah and I didn't even eat breakfast or drink coffee before putting on our winter gear to head outside. I also decided to start a new blog......time for a new start in the blogosphere! I am going to finish laundry. I don't mind putting clothes in the wash but I HATE folding them....oiy vey!
